Summer 2012 – Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru!

Classic harem, with a bit of a twist. Just a slight one though.

So Shougo’s dad just passed away, naming him as the sole heir of a corporation of companies. He’s an only child, or so he claims. So yeah, rich kid. But then, all rich dads are apparently crazy, so his dad adds a clause in his will that in order for him to really get the inheritance, he has to get married by the end of high school. I wonder if that happens with the sons of rich families these days…

And so he transfers into some new school (apparently that’s where he needs to hunt for his bride), and the typical plot for a harem show is in place: a transfer student looking for a wife in order to fulfill his late dad’s will. But wait, there’s more. Things actually becomes easy (or complicated) for him as from the get go girls seem to be at him. By that I mean outright flirting and all that.

One girl even thinks to herself she wants Shougo to eat her “cream puffs.” So yeah, sluts. No seriously, they’re acting too slutty.

But here comes the slight twist. It is revealed, then, that Shougo might actually have a little sister, who is studying in the same school. He has no recollection of her, probably because he lost his memory as a kid when he had an accident. So instead of the typical harem that flirts with the idea of incest, this one presents incest as the main problem. What if the bride he chooses is his sister? Mutant babies then.

And that’s pretty much the premise. It’s more or less the standard stuff. Even the stupid fact of Shougo immediately believing the little sister thing is pretty typical for the genre. But then again, what matters for harem shows like this are the girls, and the girls are, well, let’s just say they are too aggressive for my taste. But hey, at least that’s kind of a different angle, I guess.
