Monster Hunter Tournament This Summer

I’ve been told that there would be an upcoming monster hunter tournament this summer c/o Monster Hunter Philippines, the official monster hunter group in the country. There have been no details as of this moment but I was told by forum moderator, Committee that the competition would happen soon. I was also told that the primary sponsor of this tournament is local IT school Informatics.

Thoughts on I-Witness’ Adikaba.com

Napanuod ko kagabi yung documentary n I-Witness about internet game addiction sa mga kabataan ngayon. The documentary’s title is Adikaba.com by Kara David and I liked how she did the documentary. Call me biased or whatever, I’m a gamer first and foremost and this is the first time na hindi one sided ang usapan tungkol sa videogame addiction.

Persona 3 Portable US Release Date Announced

I wasn’t able to post this earlier today because my net died on me but here’s one of this year’s big gaming news (well for JRPG fans anyway).

Yep that’s right, thanks to W3’s G who announced in their site that the US release date of the Persona 3 Portable is set this coming July 6, 2010. So yeah it would really seem that all my purchase plans this coming July will be sidetracked– oh well  time to finish Persona then.

Tekken Movie Official Trailer Up on Youtube

I was able to get the live-action Tekken movie trailer thanks to my friend Billy Anonuevo’s post over on Tumblr. I must say that the trailer does look at least decent though I find it kinda weird that the movie’s atmosphere feels like the first Mortal Kombat movie (but heck, can’t complain about the first MK movie though cause it did have a cult following from gamers and non-gamers alike).
