Major Mayhem

What I like most when browsing through the huge listing of free games in the Play Store is finding a great game that I simply can’t put down. Major Mayhem is one such game. The folks at [Adult Swim] games did a good job here. The game takes you through jungles, deserts and cities as Major Mayhem who has in his shoulders, the task of saving the world and his girlfriend who gets kidnapped at the very start of the game. He’ll be battling ninjas, desert dwellers and thugs and he’ll take you along for the ride.

GAMEPLAY

The object of the game is very simple, just finish the levels by shooting through leagues of enemies and rescue hostages. You can kill enemies by tapping on the screen to shoot. If you’re equipped with a gun that sprays multiple bullets, you can also swipe the screen to sweep through enemy lines.

The game currently has 45 levels of which you can get medals depending on your finishing score. There are also about 100 achievements to unlock and mini-mission objectives to complete.

You get rewarded with coins that you can use to buy weapons and costumes as well as power-ups. From within a mission, you might also chance upon loots from rescuing hostages like getting the power-up to play as RoboCop for a while.

Each level takes about 5 to 10 minutes to play and is a good mix of difficulty ranging from easy to hard.

It’s a great game for just passing the time but I’m willing to bet that you won’t just play one mission for each playing session. If you have an Android phone, this is one game that you’d definitely want to have. Also I’d like to mention again that it’s FREE.
