Omnimon, the first ever merged Digimon that made it’s first appearance in the first ever Digimon Movie is now accessible to players in Digimon Masters through the Jogress system.
To get to use Omnimon, you’d need to fuse Agumon and Gabumon (reaching a certain level, but was never mentioned in the release) through the Jogress system.

Joymax, a leading online game developer and publisher of MMORPGs, today salutes monumental new additions that will open up thrilling possibilities in their free-to-play MMORPG Digimon Masters. Based on the popular Japanese animation series, Digimon Masters takes place in both the human and digital worlds, with Digimon Tamers ensuring the two don’t collide with disastrous results. With his cape waving in the wind, Omnimon strikes a heroic pose! But taming such a majestic Digimon won’t be easy – players will have to master the new Jogress system to acquire this new, powerful ally.
Omnimon is different in that he will require two specific Digimon to be fused as one, unlike most Digimon which evolves via leveling. After finishing a series of challenging quests and having appropriately leveled Agumon and Gabumon, the new Jogress system allows players to combine together two Digimons into one powerful creature. Only those who have achieved above and beyond their fellow tamers will be deemed fit to receive Omnimon’s power, which arrives just in the nick of time.
“Omnimon is, hands down, the most requested Digimon we’ve ever seen for Digimon Masters,†said the lead developer of Digimon Masters. “With the addition of the new Jogress system, players will have a new way to Digivolve, and it opens up a huge avenue for us to add other special Digimon in 2013.â€
With newly added rival Armagemon on the rampage, players can now re-enact numerous famous battle scenes from the 4th Digimon anime movie. If that wasn’t enough to grab your attention, Digimon Masters is beginning a slew of Thanksgiving Events and a major Black Day Sale where all Digimons such as Guilmon and Impmon are 30% off. Plus, Joymax is celebrating a shared event across all Joymax’s title this week. Named “Joymax Dayâ€, players logging on starting November 20th will see an amazing 1000% EXP BONUS! All of the event details can be found here.
