Kingston’s DRAM Shipment Went Up 20% in 2011

Kingston HyperX DDR3-1600 Quad-Channel Memory Kit

Kingston Technology saw a significant increase in DRAM module shipment by 20% as of last year, 2011, in the Asia Pacific region. This came at a time when the competition was fierce and unfavorable market conditions limited its rivals.

Kingston stated that the 20% growth allowed them to mitigate the impact of falling DRAM prices of 2011-2012. Kingston further added that it will still focus on its high-performance HyperX series as well as developing  DRAM modules for enterprise servers and data centers which have higher yield margins.

Kingston has managed to maintain their dominant market share of 50% globally in 2011.
