Last September 21, 2012 marked the appearance of Fishing Cactus‘ latest title, Shifting Worlds to the Europe 3DS eShop. The game, which originated as a browser game was ported first into the mobile and tablet platform. Previously titled as Shift, Fishing Cactus in partnership with Armor Games, Aksys and Rising Star Games successfully brought the game over the 3DS.

Shifting World is not a direct port of Shift since the game takes advantage of the 3D view of the Nintendo device. The game’s famous feature, the monochrome style is retained along with it’s core gameplay, which is to invert the world to best the levels. You have to switch between 3D and 2D views as you find a way to cross through 60 levels spread over 5 multiple worlds.

For more info on the game you can visit the Fishing Cactus’ Dev Blog.
