Blazblue Philippines @ Otaku Expo 2011
0Okay this is pretty much late as it is but I’d like to tell you guys that the local Blazblue Community, BBPH will be taking part in the two day anime convention, Otaku Expo 2011. They’ll be having events lined up for those who would be part of the convention. Their booth wouldn’t be just about Blazblue however because they’ll be allowing freeplay of various fighting games as well.
So for Blazblue fans who have yet a community to join in or if you’re just a fighting game enthusiast and want to find something to do, check out their booth at Otaku Expo 2011 which is held at SM Megamall Building B, Megatrade Hall 3.

I have to be honest with you guys, I really had no plans of visiting Ozine this year but due to certain circumstances I found myself sitting with friends at SM Megamall Megatrade Halls 2 & 3. So with my own vow of abstinence desecrated, I decided to drop by the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Tournament that was headed by the people of Blazblue Philippines.
Here are some of the shots I took during the tournament proper.

Blazblue Philippine’s First Ranbat and Meet

October 25, 2010 marked not only marked the philippine barangay elections but it also became the date for the first ever Ranking Battle (Ranbat) for the local community of 2D fighting game, Blazblue. The event was attended by almost 40 people where 32 of which are participating in the ranbat that was to take place.
4 ps3 units were set up to help stem the large amount of participants so that battles would go faster. With their set up it was really hard to concentrate on all the matches since there are a lot of games to cover. All eyes however were mostly set at station one since majority of the epic battles were set there.
