This coming August 13, 2011 Cubinet will be having a cosplay competition that will be held at SM Cyberzone Manila. This is in conjunction with the release of the company’s latest 3D Fantasy MMORPG, Forsaken World. The competition requires cosplayers to come in Forsaken World themed cosplays, which are mostly character classes in the game.

While the main cosplay competition is strictly Forsaken World themed only, the event is still open for cosplayers who’ll come in anime-themed costumes for the side event. However, the cosplays that will be part of the side event will be restricted to humanoid cosplays (so that means no mecha cosplays).

The long wait’s over, Cubinet’s latest 3D MMORPG, Forsaken World is finally opening it’s doors for the OBT stage tomorrow at 10 AM! Forsaken World players can now enter the world of Eryda with a high level cap in place and more monsters and areas to explore! Of course since this is the game’s OBT there won’t be any character wipes during the OBT stage of the game!

Okay so I know you guys have been itching for some updates regarding Forsaken World. Soo…. I’ve been bugging the people at cubinet to give us a lil’ bit more info on what’s in store for the game’s up and coming OBT. I’m going to have to bullet things out so you can just just read it after the jump.

But of course before I end this post it’d be wrong for me to leave you guys hanging- specially on the date of the OBT. I was told that Forsaken World’s OBT would start at the 2nd week of July. There is no definite date yet but expect the server to be open by then. So on to the updates!

• All Timed Events below level 60 has been unlocked

Aside from this Update we are currently organizing a pre-OBT event for you guys to participate (and win prizes of course) so watch out for that as well!

Last friday I was invited to attend the Forsaken World Philippines press launch. We were introduced to Cubinet’s latest fantasy 3D MMORPG. We were presented with game features and whatnot as a way to present to us what Forsaken World is all about. Among it’s most notable features is the presence of the Kindred race that can only become the exclusive Vampire class.

Aside from it;s game features, we were also presented with the cash shop system which focuses more on fashion and pots rather than player advantage to those who spent money playing the game.

Currently CBT has ended and there has been no announcement yet regarding the game’s OBT. Please do stay tuned on updates regarding the game!

The axe she’s holding is the Heracle’s Axe which you can get in BOI. I liked how they delivered the joke because it was smooth– (it was almost slick but it felt rough- the editing that is). Still it made me chuckle a lot. Just imagine, you get a girl in skirt and heels shoving an axe in your face just because you were stealing her cab.

However, all good things must come to an end, and we regret to inform the Casvian community that after over a year of service, Casvian Philippines will be shutting down on March 18, 2011 (11:00AM) due to license agreement issues.

Account migration seems to have ended last month so it’s too late for current Casvian players who have not migrated to get their cubits anymore. Those who have been able to migrate will get their cubits insertion this coming April.

Cubione Philippines, or Cubinet has finally announced the Open Beta Test of it’s first localized MMORPG, Battle of Immortals. According to their announcement, the servers will open on December 6, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. further info is scarce for the upcoming OBT, which hopefully would be addressed in the days ahead.

There is however assumption that the upcoming Leveling competition will be part of the OBT launch, here are the mechanics:

Battle for Immortality! (Leveling Competition)

Immortalize your names in BOI by being the first characters to reach the summit! Reach level 90 the fastest and obtain great rewards!T he first level 90 (of each class) will be greatly rewarded! The next ten (10) players (of each class) will get rewarded as well!

Yesterday afternoon we were invited to take part in the official press launch of Cubinet’s latest and first ever full blown MMORPG. The Philippine arm of game publisher Cubizone has presented to us Battle of Immortals (BOI, Battle of the Immortals for the international server) a beautiful 2.5D Isometric MMORPG.

I personally got the chance to play the game. I must say that BOI is the “cooler” version of Supreme Destiny (in the Philippines) and it’s international counterpart With Your Destiny (WYD). The game’s currently on Closed Beta Test (CBT) stage and I must say that the game does need to fix a lot of things however the core gameplay is there and it’s solid enough to be enjoyed by anyone.

Story:
