2011 is going to be a big year for B2G because I plan to establish a community here on B2G itself. To that, I’d formally announce that the Back2Gaming forums project is well underway again. Also, I’d like to announce that the downloads page is also under construction as we speak so you can download the latest demos and installers of MMOs and other games that have…. well released a demo.

Also 2011 will be the year that I’m going to push with an advocacy that’s related to gaming. Though the details are still pretty sketchy on what I will work on, hopefully I can announce it on the blog and on the fanpage sometime in mid 2011.

I’d also like to announce that we finally established the Back2Gaming steam group. Hopefully if we get enough funds we could give away steam games for you folks so watch out for that as well.

With that said, I won’t bore you guys anymore! Let”s all have a great 2011, and since 2011 is a great year for video games, let’s all have fun!

You can actually visit the forums page now on this link, however it is currently disabled because I’m still fixing a lot of things in preparation for the forum’s grand opening. The forums, will still put emphasis on gaming however since I know some of the readers are not just plain gamers I’ve put in a non-gaming section so that people who are not really into gaming can hang out.

The aim of the forum is to create a community of not just gamers, but a community of diverse interests within Back2Gaming.

Of course the forums would still cater mostly to gaming, but I’d like to think that the blog’s readers also have different interests aside from videogames, and because of that I want the forum to be more than just about videogames, hence the tagline: Where Videogames Matter– among other things.

I’m pretty excited for the forums really and I do hope you guys take an active part on it!
