BattlefieldPlay4Free Goes OBT

Anyone who’s itching to play Battlefield Play 4 Free can now do so with the latest Online FPS from EA going Open Beta last monday. Just log in on the site, register your account, create your soldier and you’re in. The game is pretty light in comparison to the usual FPS games EA churns out. I’ll be making a first impression post of the game after the servers stop kicking me from matches (alright already! I know we have crappy internet here… no need to rub it in).
So for the meantime I’ll be leaving you with the game’s trailer and a 14-minute long gameplay video.

writer’s note: I really had to make the header this way since Kim Jong Un really looks like the fatter version of our very own IT specialist Boss Mac Suba.
March 15, 2011 marked the official release of the controversial FPS game, Homefront. I say controversial because prior to the game’s release. The game’s plot had N. Korea’s seat of power shift from Kim Jong-Il to Un which actually happened right before N. Korea attacked the south last year.
Anyway, I was able to pre-order the game and after finishing the download I immediately logged into Steam (click on the link to see my profile) and was able to play the game for almost an hour. However since I have a day job the next best thing I did is take screenshots of my first foray into the game. I already posted some of the shots at the Back2Gaming Fanpage but all of them can be seen here right after the jump!
Contest: Razer For Life Game Pack Giveaway

Razer is currently having a contest/giveaway of their gaming peripherals. The contest, which is titled, Razer for Life is handing out 3 game sets, for the RTS, MMO and FPS genre. Razer is giving these game packs to 15 random gamers who will post and make their “genre banner” their profile image. The contest ends on March 25, 2011. In life there will always be stereotypes and gaming life is no different. According to Masanobu Endō a game designer, president of Game Studio and Mobile & Game Studio and the director of Digital Games Research Association Japan; he divided gamers into two classes. One type is known as a “game elite” and another as a “light gamer”.
