Mass Effect 3 Demo Coming Out at Valentine’s Day

It really sucks to be a gamer’s girlfriend for 2012. The final chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy is about to end and we get to taste a part of it this February 14. Yes, ladies, it’s VALENTINE’S DAY so either buck up or ship out (on a side note, Billy’s not into Mass Effect, so he’s VERY VERY LIKELY to be free this valentine’s day. And last time I checked he’s looking for a date #nudgenudgewinkwink). Or if you’re like Nicole, you can just watch your Boyfie (for the love of-) kill all those aliens and save the world.

Mass Effect 3 Update: Breezing Through the Game is NOT Suggested

People who have the tendency to cut through a game’s quest system without going through the side-quests won’t be in for a “definitive” ending in their Mass Effect 3 run according to BioWare Development Lead, Casey Hudson.

“If you just rip straight down the critical path and try and finish the game as soon as you can, and do very little optional or side stuff, then you can finish the game. You can have some kind of ending and victory, but it’ll be a lot more brutal and minimal relative to if you do a lot of stuff,” said Hudson during a PC gamer interview.

Mass Effect 3 Delayed Due to Mechanics Adjustment

Mass Effect 3 is reported to have been delayed till the Q1 of 2012. According to Executive Producer Casey Hudson in the game’s official forums “The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations.”

Also it was reported that ME3 was delayed due to adjustment of gameplay mechanics for “larger market opportunity”.

Cerberus Network Going on Hiatus, Announces Last DLC

While playing Mass Effect 2 over the weekend I happen to come across this bit of new from the Cerberus Network. Mass Effect 2s little tidbit news source of in-game and sometimes offline bits of news. The Network will be going on hiatus this coming January 24 in marking it’s one year of being online.

Spike VGA: Games of 2011

Yesterday not only marked the blog’s double win at the PBAs but also the day when Spike TV showcased it’s annual Video Game Awards. While we would not go into details on who won and all that we will however show the big trailers that were released on the event. Yep, that’s right there were a lot of big named trailers that came out during the event.
