With the portable gaming market slowly getting more and more diversified with smartphone platforms quickly finding their spot in what used to be a Sony versus Nintendo world, the platform-specific items needed for these devices are also getting numerous. From the games themselves, the memory card where you store your data chances are it’s going to be tied to that certain system. And the same goes for the listening equipment you use on those devices. If you’re packing a PSP, DS, laptop, smartphone, a portable music player or all of those and want a listening solution to cover all of them well Razer’s got your back.

This Ragnarok PSP demo skirts the line between demo and full game

Normally, when game demos are released, they’re either really small playable chunks of the full game, or timed experiences that let you experience something close to the full game, but in short bursts that usually last around an hour. Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Darkness takes a different approach by letting players play through one cycle of the game’s multiple endings with its First Ending Version demo. (more…)

Further details will soon be available regarding the EU and NA release.  Black Rock☆Shooter: The Game will released 25 August in Japan.

ModNation Racers Review: I’ve Suddenly Missed Crash Team Racing

To be honest, if it wasn’t for the Sony Welcome back promo, I wouldn’t have this game on my PSP. I found it tacky and to be honest a game that isn’t really worth the money I would pay for it. After playing through the campaign and trying to play multiplayer, I found that my distaste for ModNation Racers was, unfounded.

Invizimals Sequel, Invizimals: Shadow Zone Comes to North America This September

PSN Services Slowly Return, Issues “Welcome Back Program”

With the Sony Playstation Network slowly getting back on it’s feet again after 2 weeks of closure of service (to some it felt a month I bet). Sony has issued a welcome back program (which we will detail after the jump). For now the PSN access is limited while Sony expects full PSN service within the month.

PSN Still Down, Sony Admits to Breach in Users’ Personal Information

The current Playstation Network outage may have more ramifications than we initially thought. Today, practically the entire internet has reported that hackers may have been able to steal personal information from the PSN’s 60 million or so user base. Now, theft of any personal information is wrong no matter which way you put it, and it’s especially worrying as to what the potential uses are in store for the stolen information.
