Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Review

With all the success that Capcom’s cash-raking Monster Hunter franchise has done for PSP, it’s not surprising that other companies will want in on the success. Some recent examples include Shin Sangoku Musou Multiraid (Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce for English-speaking audiences) and God Eater. Still, with these games, it’s hard to shake off the feeling that they’re still MH clones with their own little twists on the formula.
This, friends, is where Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker comes in. Sure, this is another game where you can go play cooperatively with up to three other friends. Sure, it’s another game where you take on massive enemies that barely manage to fit the PSP’s screen. PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe Review

After starting its life as a downloadable title for PS3 in 2008, Q Games’ PixelJunk Monsters made its way onto PSP to coincide to with the download-only PSP Go last year. The less we talk about the Go, the better. But anyway, after a couple of months, its price on the Playstation Store was slashed to half of its original $20 price tag. It was a very distinct memory but I remember it like yesterday. My family has just moved to Antipolo at that time and I was an incoming third year at the best Catholic school in town. I was making the most out of my summer and got so tanned because of it in the process too, My mom had to get something from my godmother’s house and I went with her. The first time I experienced the word fanboys it’s from getting involved with the cosplay community. I thought then the fanboy wars in the cosplay community was intense, but when I stumbled into the gaming world I realized things are a lot more intense in this arena.
