Pinoy2DFighters, in cooperation with Team X-Over, Blazblue Philippines, and A2G/Playmore are sending out February with an explosive finish with Labanparooza 2012, a multi-game tournament spanning an entire weekend.
The featured games at Labanparooza are Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Ver. 2012, King of Fighters XIII, Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend, and Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3. Prizes those await who triumph, so you might as well start training.

Power Mac Center’s Arcadium Finals is on the 26th!

Power Mac Center’s App. tournament, Arcadium 2.0 is at it’s final stretch with the finals for the apps NBA JAM, Street Fighter IV, Scrabble and Uberstike set on November 26, 2011 at Power Mac Center, SM North EDSA Annex.
The top players each app will get to take home an ipad and accessories from Klipsch, Belkin, Otterbox, Logitech, Sandisk, and Divoom. So if you’re interested in checking out how things would go (or how you would spot your competitors come 2012) drop by the Power Mac Center at SM North Edsa Annex this saturday.
Pinoy Gaming Festival is Coming… Are You Prepared?
0If you’ve been aching for more gaming events this year, there’s an upcoming 4-day event this month that will be held at the fourth floor Cyberzone SM North Edsa titled as the Pinoy Gaming Festival. Attendees would get the chance to see teams from DotA duke it out for the MPGL Grand Finale while the PGF will be host to the Starcraft 2 WCG qualifiers
Aside from the tournaments thsi coming Oct. 28-31, there will also be other contests such as the planking competition alongside an on-site photo contest.

Latif‘s battle against crowd-favorite Daigo Umehara decided that there will be a new champion. Fuudo sealed the deal with his Fei Long, keeping the championship for Japan for another year.

Back2Beatdown Tournament Results

This will be really quick. Now, if you’ve got just about a few moments of your time to go through this, we would like to present you with the winners of our recently concluded (if you still consider a whole week ‘recent’) Back2Beatdown on-site tournaments at ToyCon last weekend. We held tourneys for two games, one on each day of the event. Up on tap were Super Street Fighter IV and Marvel VS Capcom 3. Some competed for fame, some competed for glory… and some others joined up because I lied about a horde of Japanese schoolgirls being the top prize. Back2Gaming Presents: Back2Beatdown

Last time, we confirmed that we will indeed be showing up at this year’s Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention. We also said that we’ll be holding on site tournaments for Super Street Fighter IV and Marvel VS Capcom 3. As you can see, we’ve called our little event Back2Beatdown, courtesy of our esteemed colleague, Edward. It’s basically two tournaments for two games spread out across ToyCon’s run at the Megatrade Halls this weekend.
