Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Part 1

The highly anticipated live action web series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn finally starts off with the first part of the series where we get to be introduced to the protagonist of the series, Thomas Lasky.

We get a glimpse of how the life is of the freshman cadets in UNSC’s Corbulo Academy and how Lasky is trying to “survive” through the harsh training session of the academy.

Thomas Lasky came to Corbulo Academy of Military Science with his mother and brother’s impressive military careers hanging over his head. Haunted by ghosts from his past, he has serious doubts about the war he’s expected to fight. As fellow cadet Chyler Silva tries to help him find his place at the academy, tensions with other squad members approach the breaking point.

Thoughts

For the first part of the series, I must say I am impressed with the overall cinematography used in the pilot episode. You get to see how hard life is in the Corbulo Academy.

You also get to see the lives of each cadet and how it revolves not just
