Synopsis
I find it ridiculously hard to talk about what happened in this pilot episode because largely only two things happened: People talked; or people had flashbacks about people talking.
What we do know is that Saikawa is someone in the academe. And he’s supposedly a really really smart dude. And the daughter of his mentor, Moe, has the hots for him.
The story, though, is leaning towards the situation of Magata Shiki, a genius programmer who killed her parents 15 years ago. But she insists that a doll killed them, and was thus declared clinically insane. One way or another, Saikawa, Moe and others, decide to visit her, which would probably have them get involved in this mystery.
Review
This is the type of show that you really can’t get a good read on until probably 2/3 of the season. The show itself is decently produced, as evidenced by the fact that I didn’t get bored throughout the 20 or so minutes of nothing but non-stop conversations. However, the show will ultimately be dependent on how well-written it is, and that’s something the first episode can’t really show us sufficiently. But there is promise, mind you. This looks like it has what it takes to be a good serious show.
Also, I did like the character interactions in the episode, especially the sudden interjections other characters make between Moe and Saikawa.
But again, let’s temper our expectations, even if it’s a noitaminA show.
Waifu Index
Technically, we can consider Moe. But this is a show that shouldn’t really have waifus, so let’s just say that there are no waifus to see here instead.

But I like Zankyou no Terror… ๐
It was good until they introduced Five, then they ran out of episodes to make a proper conclusion.
