B2G: Can you tell us about yourself?
Mhike: Modder Name, Nick: Mhike Samsin / Tantric / tantricmodz.
Occupation: Graphics Artist / Designer/ Fulltime Casemodder
B2G: How did you come-up with your modder name?
Mhike: I’ve been using the nickname “tantric” in online games and forums way back in PPC.net and tipidPC.com. Then when I got started into case modding, a friend suggested that I use. tantricmodz to advertise my services online.
B2G: What was your inspiration in joining the modding community?
Mhike: I used to read PC Magazines back then that’s where I first saw customized PC cases from Alienware and Voodoo pc. And then I stumbled into different forum’s and website’s like www.virtual-hideout.net and www. bit-tech.net and the rest was history.
B2G: What was your first project?
Mhike: I remember my first project vividly, It was an old scrap Exodus casing I modded and nicknamed PROJECT TURBINE. It took me around 8months to finish the actual project. LOL!
B2G: Do you have any particular routines in modding?
Mhike: My usual routine when starting with a new project is to first conceptualize a theme, make initial planning and sketches before starting with the physical modifications on the case.
B2G: What are your top 3 best mods and what was the idea behind the mod?

B2G: What difficulties and challenges did you encounter in modding and how did you surpassed them?
Mhike: The usual problem/difficulties when starting with a new project is the design and conceptualization stage. You always need to come up with new ideas and designs.
B2G: Can you tease us with your upcoming project?
Mhike: I’ll be starting a new project by october, please watch out for it 😀
B2G: Do you have any modders to look up to?
Mhike: Some of the modder’s I look up to include the pioneers like Bill Owen and Benjamin Franz “Benny”. They have served as my inspiration ever since.
