X570 Motherboards

AMD has just launched their 3rd-generation Ryzen processors and its launch beckons the release of a new chipset and motherboard design standard. The new X570 chipset is the accompanying chipset launching with the new Ryzen CPUs and much like its predecessor, it supports both 1st-gen and 2nd-gen Ryzen CPUs, The new motherboard standard also brings in PCIe Gen4 which offers double the bandwidth of Gen3.

The new flagship for the X570 family is the new MSI X570 GODLIKE and the MSI X570 MEG Creation. Both are tuned for different functionality but deliver the maximum that the X570 chipset can offer. Also on display are the X570 MEG Ace and the X570 Gaming Pro Carbon which will serve as MSI’s mainstream offering after their flagship, offering cutback features from the topend products.

Instead, it still focused on a similar formula to its existing one but have expanded the line to a new curved flagship.

The MSI Optix MPG341CQR is a 34″ 144hz 4K UWD (3440×144) monitor offering fast response times, great colors, HDR and large display real estate. The monitor will also include MSI’s Game Sense engine in partnership with SteelSeries. The monitor also has a detachable bungee and webcam clip.

No official pricing has been mentioned for the monitor.

A story went viral earlier in the year involving a student who reported his MSI monitor being shot. The .357 bullet did not penetrate the monitor and saved the young gamer’s life. The monitor is now in MSI’s possession and was seen on display in COMPUTEX complete with the bullet hole at the back. We really don’t know if this is tampering with evidence but MSI did inform us that the owner receive a significant upgrade from his previous screen with this exchange.

Ultrawide Case

[Computex 2019] Msi Booth Round-Up: X570 Motherboards, Lighting Graphics Cards, New Case And New MonitorMSI is also set to release one of their most daring cases dubbed the world’s first curved gaming case. The new Alchemy 700X. The case features full frontal mount for all its components giving you a full view of what’s inside your rig. The curved case also includes a curved tempered glass panel for display purposes. The case has front panel ports on the front feet and will require a sizable area for placement. The mounting sides on both left and right have various holes for mounting purposes and will allow placement of devices like hard drives and SSDs as well as radiators.

MSI is set to release these new products in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information.
