At COMPUTEX 2024, ASRock presented an extensive pool of gaming and overclocking motherboards based on the Intel ***Z890*** chipset. Well, presumably Z890 unless Intel changes their mind because AMD decided to even up the numbering to drive more confusion. ASRock, and nobody else for that matter, is officially using the “Z890” refers to it as “next-gen Intel,” we’re just using it as a placeholder on the assumed next-gen. This new chipset powers the Core Ultra “Arrow Lake-S” desktop processors set to launch in Q4 2024. With the Z890 generation, ASRock has further refined its high-end Taichi brand, incorporating its enthusiast-grade OC Formula into the lineup.
