COLORFUL previewed their Neptune case concept prior to COMPUTEX 2024 where they showed off a similar looking chassis to the like of Thermaltake’s Core P3 but COLORFUL’s concept featured their Neptune series AIO liquid cooled GPUs on displayed. The actual build was shown off at COMPUTEX 2024 and it is marvelous.
Sold as a pre-built system, the COLORFUL’s Neptune PC comes in two configurations with a preset option offering an Intel Core i9 on a COLORFUL Neptune Z790 D5 motherboard. The other configuration is a user-defined system and will arrive as specced by the user.
The on-show Neptune display shows us this metal open-frame chassis that hid the motherboard and other components inside. We were told the CPU is also liquid cooled but I couldn’t make out where its radiator was placed so I assume this demo was only running a low-profile cooler for the show.
The highlight here is the COLORFUL Neptune series VGA card which is COLORFUL’s AIO liquid cooled series of graphics cards which are sold individually. While users can freely use a non-liquid cooled GPU, the build is made with this setup in mind with the Neptune block matching the entire CNC’d body of the Neptune open frame chassis.
We couldn’t get an accurate timeframe of international release dates on the Neptune series but it will be offered in their home market of China primarily.
