At COMPUTEX 2024, select tech media were invited to a media day where ASUS showed a slew of products, besides the black version ROG Ally, the other major slate the ROG Azoth Extreme at COMPUTEX. This is a gaming mechanical keyboard, built to please the enthusiasts with its robust build quality, features and performance.
The keyboard features a full aluminum alloy chassis โ CNC machined with serrations, a carbon fiber positioning plate, and an adjustable gasket mount for a premium typing experience. You could toggle between a stiffer or softer dampening with just a switch behind the keyboardโs decorative plate.
Similar to the original Azoth, it also has a full-color OLED touchscreen with a three-way control knob for easy access to macros and other functions.
For added comfort, the ROG Azoth Extreme includes an extended wrist rest. The keyboard also offers tri-mode connectivity, allowing you to connect via USB cable, Bluetooth, or 2.4 GHz wireless.
The ROG Azoth Extreme is equipped with hot-swappable, pre-lubed ROG NX mechanical switches for a smooth and responsive typing experience. The keyboard also features three tilt angles for optimal comfort. I was told it comes with Mac support as well.
The ROG Azoth Extreme is expected to be available in Q3 2024. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.
