December has passed, along with all the massive video game releases scheduled for the holiday shopping craze. One of the best-selling games of last year was the new Wolfenstein title but 2017 brought us many more games to be excited about, at all levels. All Slots Casino has released its two new online games not long ago, adding them to its free game library, smartphones have seen some very successful game releases, and PC and console “game enthusiasts” have also seen some great offers to grow their libraries. And now, we’re in a new year, ready to fill us with excitement about the titles coming up.
Far Cry 5 spent the better part of the last few years under development – it’s been the subject of some controversy, too, because of its “domestic terrorism” topic – and it will be finally released this March on PS4, Xbox, and PC.
Expect the game to be published sometime in February.
Last but not least, let’s take a look at a game many of you probably crave for from the time of its announcement: We Happy Few. It is a survival horror title with a twist – it puts the player into a society that’s filled with cheerful creeps in constant denial thanks to a drug that’s mandatory in the post-war, alternative 1960s. Refusing to take your medicine is considered a deadly sin here (much like in the movie “Equilibrium”, by the way) that turns you into a “Downer” that the rest has to kill on sight. Your task will be to “adapt, overcome, and improvise” to be able to get away from the enraged addict hordes and make it out of Wellington Wells alive.
The game has been in “Early Access” on Steam for quite some time, with the final version being released in April.
