With the rain being such a terrible visitor lately and with that the PH’s internet system being a downer itself, here are some of the titles I’ve downloaded on the mobile that you can play for a long while.
These games are in fact free download as long as you have an iOS or an android device.
1. Plants vs. Zombies 2
Platform: iOS exclusive (for now)
PopCap Game’s hit zombie-killing-plant-planting game has been released for the iOS. You can now play with the sequel of the hit game on your idevices.
Initial Impressions: There’s a saying that goes if it ain’t broken don’t fix it. That was my initial thoughts on the news of the sequel since the first game was pretty good already. Apparently, PopCap was able to make changes to make the game more challenging and in fun.
2. Ragnarok Online: Valkyrie Rising
Platform: iOS/Android
The mobile port of one of the most enduring MMORPG titles in the world has been out for quite a while now. Suprisingly, the mobile version was able to retain the fun and zany world Ragnarok Online is famous for.
Initial Impressions: While it is unnerving to see my first ever MMORPG be ported into the mobile platform, I am pretty amused to see that it is seems this platform is the best home for the game. It hasn’t really aged well specially in the age where better looking 3D games have taken the forefront of MMO gaming.
3. Robot Unicorn Attack 2
Platform: iOS/Android
The sequel to the Adult Swim unicorn running game, Robot Unicorn Attack 2 takes a more “serious” game route by creating a highly challenging running game on both the iOS and Android platforms.
Sadly, Always I Want to Be With You was taken out of the background.
Initial Impressions: The sequel, while slowly removing it’s comedic elements has become a game that’s both challenging and fun to play. I would still deny to my dying breath though that I love the game that much.
