Yes I am not pulling your leg with the title. According to MMOsite, Last November 21, a gamer (who up to know has remained unnamed) played an undisclosed MMO on a 7,500 sq. meter screen. The said screen’s found on a Baijing mall, named the Place. This LED screen is considered as the World’s second largest LED screen and Asia’s largest, slightly larger than a Football Field.
The gamer, apparently a guild leader on a famous MMOG paid roughly around 15,000 USD (around 645,000 pesos) just to distinguish the gaming experience. The said gamer played for around 10 minutes before he left, apparently satisfied with his experience.
If you don’t believe me here’s the video accompanied by the post:

Somewhere nVidia and AMD are scratching their heads sayin why they didn’t think of that.
indeed they are
Well, that’s a good way to advertise… but I think I’ll get a headache playing on that position for long periods of time. I would have been nice if they took advantage of several players with different screens rather than just one player on a tiled screen.
it’s not really an advertising move but more of a personal one– he wanted to compare and he got it (but he had to spend a lot for that)
I know. but still, you can’t deny that it is a good way to advertise your product. 😀 he does have way too much money to waste. I could start a business of my own and get married with that amount of money he used.
gettin married– that definitely hit a nerve haha!
15,000 USD for 10minutes? that’s just too much IMO
i actually have the same opinion but it’s his money so we can just stare in disbelief hehe
