If you are like me the planning and preparation that is put into a long trip can be fun, but once it is over and you are settled in your seat then the wait begins to reach your destination.

Now this is fine until you are caught staring, which can be pretty embarrassing especially if they are sitting close and there is another four hours to go.
Because of these reasons I rely a lot on the apps that are available to me on my Android device without having to be near to a Wi-Fi source.
I have a few firm favourites that have stood the test of time and that I can lose myself in, especially after I have been caught casing out a fellow traveler who did not seem to appreciate my interest in them!

- Puzzle Retreat allows you to shut yourself off from the rest of the travelers, relax and focus on th game which is simple to learn but manages to keep your attention for a long time. Just watch you don’t miss your stations when you are so engrossed.
- Another addictive game and voted best of 2015 by the Google Play editors is Doodle Jump. This game should come with an addictive tag on it reading ‘only to be played whilst on long journeys or you have too much time on your hands.’
- I also like racing games and get immersed in the game play much to the amusement of others and for me Racing Moto is a must. This fast paced game has you racing through rush hour traffic, forests, deserts and other settings. Tap the screen to accelerate and tilt the phone to control which direction you move in.
- I love iRunner for it great HD graphics and special gameplay. It cute and fast and if you have you earphones the soundtrack is great.
