NetEase Games has launched Season 9 Vol. 2 for Dunk City Dynasty, adding former NBA Defensive Player of the Year Metta World Peace to the roster. The update also introduces a new Cavalry outfit and continues seasonal events.
Season Journey event continues
Players can earn match trophies and unlock milestone rewards through the Season Journey event. NetEase says there is no penalty for losing a challenge in this event.
Metta World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award and helped the Los Angeles Lakers win the 2010 NBA championship. In the game, his defensive abilities are framed around disrupting opponents and creating opportunities for counterattacks.
Players who recruit the new character can earn additional rewards and seasonal surprises during Season 9 Vol. 2. More information is available through the official Dunk City Dynasty website.
