O.P. Neon Games has set September 15, 2026, as the 1.0 launch date for TCG Card Shop Simulator, closing out an Early Access run that began in September 2024. The solo-developed simulation game has sold more than 3.5 million copies on Steam, Xbox, and Windows PC during Early Access, and the 1.0 release brings it to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time, alongside its existing Steam and Xbox Series X|S versions and Xbox Game Pass availability.
TCG Card Shop Simulator has players run a trading card shop, stocking shelves with booster packs, cracking packs to build a personal collection, setting prices, hiring staff, and expanding a small store into a larger business. The game is developed solo by Ding Shen Sia of O.P. Neon Games, a studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
What’s New in 1.0
- Playable Tetramon TCG: The most-requested feature of 1.0 lets players build decks and battle with the cards they collect, rather than only managing them, turning the shop into a hub for actual play.
- Tournament Mode: Players can host high-stakes NPC competitions within their shop.
- New platforms: PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 mark the game’s first appearance on Sony and Nintendo hardware.
The release date announcement is accompanied by a new trailer styled after 90s Saturday-morning cartoons, pairing that nostalgic look with the game’s pack-opening and shop-management loop.
“When I launched TCG Card Shop Simulator in early access in 2024 I didn’t expect it to blow up the way it did,” said Ding Shen Sia, founder of O.P. Neon Games. “I’m grateful for the community that rallied behind it and with the 1.0 release, I can’t wait to bring TCG Card Shop Simulator to all of you the world over on more platforms. And for those of you that have been there from the start: I can’t wait for you to finally experience the full Tetramon TCG and see your shops come alive in a whole new way.”
