If you’re someone who frequently does CS: GO case opening on csbet, then you must surely know about the existence of CS: GO leagues, respectively ECS. If you know about it indeed, then you should know that FACEIT thought it was time to make some changes, so they announced a new league that will be coming in March.
If you’re a big fan of CS: GO, you will be happy to know that even the new league will have some of the faces that you’ve come to love over time.
The League Announcement – Who Will Be Part of the Team?
There will be a special broadcast talent team, which will make the new league spectacular. For example, the commentators Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles and Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat will be in the team. The two used to be Overwatch League commentators. But although the two used to be commentators for another game, Semmler is actually no stranger to Counter-Strike. He is actually a known face in the industry. He will be, once again, able to work next to Anders Blume.
Meanwhile, MonteCristo is just making his debut into CS: GO with this new ECS event. It will all start out in March 2020, so we can only wait and see how it works out.
But this isn’t all there is to the announcement. James Bardolph and DDK will also be part of the team. It’s safe to say that most of the known names will be working to make this worth.
How Is This Going to Happen?
ECS had eight full seasons ran by FACEIT. The events always featured the best teams from two important regions, respectively North America and Europe. In the last ECS final, the winning team was Astralis. Basically, they won the last three ECS seasons.
