Numskull Designs has once again blended pop culture nostalgia with collectible creativity, unveiling the Back to the Future: Time Machine TUBBZ Vehicle (Special Edition) — a high-detail homage to cinema’s most famous time-traveling machine, now reimagined for the TUBBZ universe.
Before diving into the flux capacitor-powered fun, let’s take a moment to understand what makes TUBBZ such a hit among collectors.
What Are TUBBZ?
TUBBZ are a line of premium, officially licensed collectible figures that combine iconic pop culture characters with the playful aesthetic of a rubber duck. Each TUBBZ figure captures the spirit of beloved franchises — from Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, and Resident Evil, to Sonic the Hedgehog, Star Trek, and Lord of the Rings — all rendered with meticulous detail and a touch of humor.
Each collectible comes packaged in a bathtub-shaped display box and features signature sculpting, expressive designs, and vibrant colors. The collection now includes over 300 characters, offered in various editions:
- First Editions – Original releases with “First Edition” stamps and collectible tubs
- Boxed Editions – Re-releases in boxed packaging for select figures
- XL TUBBZ – Oversized figures for larger characters like Jaws or the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man
- Mini TUBBZ – Compact 2-inch versions that retain full detailing
- TUBBZ Plush – Soft and huggable interpretations of classic TUBBZ
For collectors, TUBBZ have become a celebration of fandom and creativity, merging pop culture with the lighthearted charm of rubber duck parody.
