The flagship Razer Store Manila may not be celebrating its 3rd year this August as it seems to have closed its doors for business for a good while now. We’ve received reports since a few weeks ago that the store has been cleaning out but only today did we get new images to support the possible closure of Razer Store Manila.
Located in SM North EDSA Annex Cyberzone, Razer Store Manila serves as both a boutique to demo the latest and greatest from Razer as well as a community hub for its fans, holding events for gamers as a way of giving back. We can’t say anything about sales but in terms of being a community center, the Razer Store Manila was more a freeloader hangout for people looking to get hours on end of gaming for free on Razer’s laptops, PC, and console on display in the store. It reached the point where the store had to implement a playtime limit to bystanders. Its opening day was quite storied as well, perhaps the most polarizing store opening of its kind in the Philippines. You can read the full details in our coverage here: Fans Disappointed at Store Opening.
We’ve reached out to Razer and SM North EDSA for confirmation on this matter.
Update 0800 07/24/18 – Min Liang Tan has responded to a tweet from top media Jay Mancheta (visit jamonline.ph for wallhacks and cheats) asking about the matter. Min Liang Tan responded:
Our lease expired and we are looking for a much larger area.
Update 07/24/18 1918 – Razer Store Manila Facebook Page have supported Min Liang Tan’s response and states they will be moving to a new location:
A source from SM has told us that the tenant still remains the same but will not be continuing the Razer brand concept store. Meaning the space is still on lease but Razer may have ended their arrangement with the store partner and/or seeking new dealers to partner with.
Totoo kaya na lilipat lng ng megamall yan?

They should open in a more upscale area. Or a more accessible one like Megamall or MOA
better either megamall or moa
So they’re comin back, nice
