One year after their first performance her in the Philippines, AKB48 Team 8 is going back! The group will perform in the ’60 Years of Philippines-Japan Friendship Celebration’, a free musical event at the Market!Market! Activity Center on December 4, 2016.
The ’60 Years of Philippines-Japan Friendship’ is a yearlong series of events organized to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Philippine-Japan Friendship and further promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two countries. The event is organized by the Japanese Embassy and produced by Hallohallo Entertainment Inc, the same folks who brought Team 8 last year AND the folks behind MNL48.
The lineup is a mix of girls who’ve been here last year and new ones: Hijiri Tanikawa, Nanami Sato, Rin Okabe, Maria Shimizu, Ayane Takahashi, Nanase Yoshikawa, Serika Nagano, Kotone Hitomi, Riona Hamamatsu, Yurina Gyoten, Rena Fukuchi, and Karin Shimoaoki.
Admission is FREE so if you love AKB, J-pop, or at least faintly interested, be sure to drop by Market!Market on December 4!
