Kamen Riders or more commonly known as Masked Riders in countries outside of Japan is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary. As a means to celebrate Namco Bandai’s second most popular title (the first would be Gundam), they’ll be releasing a NDS Kamen Rider beat ’em up game which will come out this August 4.
Titled as “All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation“. This lastest Kamen Rider game features all the titular Riders starting from the first Kamen Rider till the most recent one, OOOs.
As you can see from the video above, Namco Bandai will be bringing all the special moves of each rider, from their trademark moves to their most lethal finishers. The game is a co-op between two riders and you’ll get to face off the “grunts” from each of the rider’s “world” (however it isn’t verified that ALL of the grunts in each series would crop out since all we can see in the trailer are the worms (Kabuto), Weak Yummies (OOOs) and the grunts from Shocker).
The game would also be a co-op of sorts. You’ll always be seeing two riders running through a 2 plane world. Personally I like what I see which is a lot since I didn’t like Climax Heroes that much. Plus its nice to see riders in a more “series related” game (in the sense of running and beating minions up till you get to the main monster) rather than just a 1v1 versus game.
