Recently held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, ASUS invited media and dealers to its Incredible Intelligence event to showcase and highlight the company’s status in the market as the dominant company that they are. ASUS not only launched various products for both businesses and consumers in this event, they also debuted the latest in their robotics offering as well as gaming products.
Jackie Hsu, ASUS Corporate Vice President & General Manager of Worldwide Sales Open Platform Business Group, opened up the floor highlighting ASUS’ commitment to excellent and that their products reflect this with 4511 media awards and global recognition gathered in 2017 alone. Hsu also stressed ASUS’ recurring listing in Fortune’s Most Admired Companies in the world and Forbes Best Regarded Companies in the world, ranking #2 this year for Computer Hardware. Its flagship gaming brand, Republic of Gamers (ROG), also has garnered critical acclaim, gaining 22 awards in 20 countries as the No.1 gaming brand by users and media alike. Hsu proceeds to launch multiple products including ASUS’ latest 11AX router including models which feature ASUS AIMesh technology. The ASUS CVP then presents the latest mobile solutions. With the Mobile Enterprise Application market growing at 15.24% est. from 2016-2021, ASUS’ ZenScreen empowers the mobile workforce with improved productivity for increase business efficiency. Another growing sector of particular business interest to ASUS is the digital content creator market wherein 42% of the global market (130 million total) is located in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The ASUS ProArt PA34VC provides content creators and multimedia professionals a powerful display which features excellent display quality and built-in hardware calibration to guarantee consistent screen images all the time. To power their visions, ASUS is also launches the brand new ProArt PA90 mini PC. The narrow, cylindrical body design allows optimal airflow while maintaining a compact and stylish body which fits the modern, creative desktop. The ProArt PA90 is powered by a Intel 9th-gen CPU and an NVIDIA Quadro professional workstation graphics card and complimented by Intel Optane fast storage. The system features liquid cooling to further provide performance even under load.
Transitioning to their gaming business, the floor was passed to Kris Huang, General Manager of Gaming Gear and Accessory Business Unit. Huang showed figures from developers and the market with 60% of game developers responding to a survey asking which platform the devs are working on with smartphones/tablets trailing by a significantly large margin at only 36%, PS4 Pro at 30% and so on.
ASUS has helped pioneer many aspects of the current esports and gaming market and Huang stressed the significance of ROG’s presence in creating and helping develop concepts that accentuate the gaming lifestyle. During this keynote, the latest ROG branded gaming router was announced featuring the world’s first 10Gigabit wireless bandwidth. The router works seamlessly and dynamically with capable ROG and ASUS products to automatically manage network traffic via ROG GameFirst IV. Built-in WTFast GPN delivers improved ping times versus non-gaming ready routers. ROG also bolster their gaming peripheral line with the Gladius II wired-and-wireless gaming mouse, Balteus Qi RGB gaming mouse mat featuring fully AURA SYNC compatible RGB lighting and wireless Qi charging for capable mobile devices. Also adding to the family of ROG peripherals is the ROG Delta gaming headset featuring ESS 9218 Quad-DAC for an excellent listening experience for both gaming and listening.
Huang also touched on their new RTX graphics card designs with their ROG Strix series which feature the improved Axial-tech fans, improved MaxContact technology and 2.7x larger shroud. ROG also launched their new ultrawide monitor, the ROG STRIX XG49VQ, a 21:9 3840x1080p resolution with HDR support. Last up for ROG are the latest Z390 motherboard which support Intel Core 9th- and 8th-gen processors in the LGA1151 package.
Last announced was the latest inclusion in ASUS’ robotics product for B2B solutions. The Zenbo Junior is a miniature model of the original Zenbo featuring a refined feature set to compliment its size. The Zenbo Junior features facial recognition, motion control, voice recognition as well as sensor fusion and is fully controlled via a centralized remote management interface via the ASUS cloud.
