ASUS is adding another option for their RTX 4070 joining their various series options with their vintage blower-style cooler akin to the classic GTX 9xx/GTX 10xx era coolers. The RTX 4070 TURBO features a tight 2-slot lateral blower cooling solution which allows multiple stacks of the GPU to be placed one on top of the other which is helpful in dense applications like rack-mounted setups e.g. AI-accellerated computing setups. The 8-pin PCIE power connector can be found on the end of the card, further making space on the side.
The TURBO series has been known to be the flagbearer for ASUS’ blower-style options with the latest iteration for the RTX 4070 TURBO still featuring a solution that blows through a fin stack, laid on top of the GPU via a copper baseplate. The card features 2475Mhz boost and has an option for two cooling profiles via a hardware switch.
