ASUS has recently announced the arrival of their updated TUF Gaming portfolio which combines AMD processors with NVIDIA 16-series graphics. The TUF Gaming FX505 and TUF Gaming FX705 will sports AMD Ryzen 3000-series mobile processors and selection of NVIDIA GTX 16-series processors based on the 12nm Turing architecture. AMD’s 3000-series mobile is still based on Zen+ architecture.
This combination allows ASUS to build powerful and portable systems able to deliver incredible performance for their value to the users. As with previous TUF line, the TUF Gaming laptop line adhere to a certain styling formula but still follows the pedigree of TUF with the notebooks certified to meet MIL-STD-810G standards for daily use.
Launch models announced for the Philippines are as follows:
- FX505DT (comes in both Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7)
As the name implies, size is the difference here. First we have the FX505 which has 15.6″ display all launch models featuring a 120hz screen. Base configurations will see at least 4GB memory paired with GTX 1650 models while the FX505DU with a GTX 1660 Ti will have 8GB DDR4 RAM as well as a 256GB SSD. The FX705DU follows the same specs as the FX505DU but features a 17.3″ display rated at 60hz.
