ASUS is releasing the sequel to their pseudo-Xbox Elite controller, the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC: a high-end gaming controller built around a competition-grade 8000Hz polling rate, extensive customization options, and industry-leading battery life.
Ultimate Precision and Ultra-Low Latency
The controller combines an 8000Hz polling rate with 2.4GHz wireless performance through ROG SpeedNova technology. All buttons, including the D-Pad, ABXY face buttons, rear buttons, and bumpers, use micro switches for instant actuation. Dual Mode Triggers let players switch between short-travel micro-switch triggers and full-travel TMR sensor triggers depending on the game genre.
Personalized Control
Hot-swappable TMR joystick modules provide anti-drift performance and lower power consumption. The controller ships with two sets of joystick modules, a default 120gf set and an additional 50gf set, letting players tailor actuation force to preference. Four removable rear buttons and two extra claw bumpers are fully remappable alongside the face buttons.
A built-in full-color panel allows on-the-fly adjustments to button remapping, vibration intensity, joystick calibration, and lighting, plus switching between five stored profiles. ASUS Gear Link software adds further customization, including detailed button mapping, joystick sensitivity, and a Turbo mode for rapid auto-repeat, useful in RPG, FPS, and fighting games.
