A Canadian retailer has listed upcoming, currently unannounced SKUs for Intel’s 12th-gen CPUs including the Core i7-12700F, Core i5-12400F, Core i5-12400 and the Core i3-12100F with pricing at 455CAD, 249CAD, 287CAD and 148CAD respectively.
This converts to around:
- US$365 – i7-12700F
- US$230 – i5-12400
- US$200 – i5-12400F
- US$119 – i3-12100
The Core i7-12700KF is already available and is priced at US$409. This follows the trend that Intel is putting around a $25 for the IGP and with the non-K variants pushing pricing down, the prices do line-up with the Core i7-12700F’s pricing aligned with currently released information.
Intel is supposedly releasing two chip variations with some SKUs having no E-cores at all, hence a smaller die. There is also no confirmed configurations for the other unreleased CPUs for 12th-gen Intel Core CPUs. Assumptions do put the Core i7-12700F at similar config with the K-type version with 8P+4E configurations with a locked multiplier. For the i5 and i3 though, a 6P+0E and 4P+0 configuration is expected, both CPUs also expected to have a 65W PBP or processor base power.
These CPUs are slated for release around the start of 2022.
