Square Enix’s third installment of the Parasite Eve series, The 3rd Birthday, finally has a North American release date. Prepare to jump between bodies and gun down the “Twisted” on March 29 of this year. For those wondering, The 3rd Birthday can’t have Parasite Eve in its title due to licensing issues. The game itself is another departure from previous titles as it’s a third person shooter with RPG elements this time around. Using Aya’s “Overdive” ability, you can hop between other people on the battlefield and use whatever abilities and weapons they may have on them. But, perhaps its biggest selling point this time around is the inclusion of destructible clothing that wears down as Aya takes more battle damage. One last tidbit: It’s been confirmed that Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck) and Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) will be providing the voices of Aya Brea and Kyle Madigan, respectively.
