Civilization World, the facebook version of Civilization is now looking for alpha testers of the game. In a letter to Facebook fans of the civ world fan page, Sid Meier had invited people to take part in the alpha test. The catch is, you have to apply as a team. Yes that’s right, a team. According to Sid Meier, the reason why they are requesting for team’s is that the whole game concept of Civ World is to win as a team.
If you want to participate you can go to the sign up page and register your team name, your captain’s name and you have to give some other information the registration asks you to. Team’s will get their confirmations beginning this January 10 so ready up and register if you want to take part in the game.
Also, Alpha testers will be given a special item to present to the world that you are one of the game’s founding players (not my words seriously)
The game’s official release on Facebook is set to June 2011.
