Corsair is taking customization for its secondary displays to the next level. The company has officially announced that widgets for the Xeneon Edge 14.5″ LCD Touchscreen are now live on the Elgato Marketplace. This moves the device away from relying solely on baked-in software updates and opens the door to a massive, community-driven ecosystem of downloadable tools.

To support this new platform, users will need to update to iCUE software version 5.44. To celebrate the launch, Corsair has already uploaded over 20 first-party widgets that are completely free to download right now.

The Elgato Marketplace Integration

By tapping into the Elgato Marketplace, which already hosts thousands of digital assets like Stream Deck plugins and OBS scenes, Xeneon Edge owners now have a centralized hub to browse and install new widgets with just a few clicks.

The initial batch of free widgets ranges from practical tools like network ping monitors, live sports scores, and system stat trackers, to fun additions like countdown timers and a doodle pad for sketching directly on the touchscreen.

“Stream Deck became a platform because the community and Makers built experiences on it that took it further than we ever could have on our own,” said Taylor Ward, Director of Ecosystem for Elgato. “XENEON EDGE has that same opportunity, and a touchscreen gives the community a completely different canvas to work with.”

Build Your Own Widgets (No Coding Required)

Perhaps the most exciting part of this announcement is the open invitation to independent creators. Corsair is providing the tools for anyone to build custom widgets for the Xeneon Edge, even if they have zero coding experience.

Full documentation is available at docs.elgato.com, and Corsair explicitly highlights that users can leverage modern AI coding tools to describe what they want to build in plain language and generate working code. Once a widget is finished (a process Corsair says can take just a few hours), it can be imported directly into iCUE for personal use, or submitted to the Elgato Marketplace for the rest of the community to download or purchase.

The new Xeneon Edge widgets are live and available to download from the Elgato Marketplace today.
