Not to be outdone by AMD’s current Ryzen announcements and impending Vega reveal, NVIDIA has started a countdown in its GeForce.com website with the usual page receiving a timer splash page with the message:
IT’S ALMOST TIME
#ULTIMATEGEFORCE
The most notable clue here is the TI in TIME obviously bolded out to give emphasis. This means that a Ti product is incoming and with NVIDIA still holding on to its consumer-grade version of the Titan X Pascal, the supposed GTX 1080 Ti, its an easy guess for long-time observers. Typically reserved as the last release after a Titan as history suggests, the Ti variant of the top-tier product from NVIDIA’s lineup is usually a reaction to AMD launches to counter its current stack.
