ECS recently held a media and distributor event here in the Philippines to formally launch their new product line dubbed as the ECS Non-Stop Golden Launch Party. This event underscores ECS’ ongoing efforts to solidify its name in the computing and component market.
Held last July 24 at The Lounge in Bonifacio Global City, a night of music, good food and drinks was in order to celebrate this event. On display in the venue ECS’ motherboard offerings ranging from their Z77H2-A2X Golden Board, the X79R-AX Deluxe both of which you’ll find very familiar if you’ve been following our reviews. Also on display were products from CoolerMaster and BENQ, who happily tagged along for this event.
Patricia Tsao from ECS gave the opening remarks to properly commence the night’s programme. Enumerating further ECS’ technologies, features and product line was Josie Chung who went through each and every detail as to what sets their products apart and what their bringing to the market. She further went on to describe what goes into the ECS Non Stop program: a tight screening process and QA testing that their products go through before being sent out of their factories.
One of the slides presented revealed that ECS will be incorporating Thunderbolt capabilities in their forthcoming Z77H2-A5X, another addition into their LGA1155 port folio supporting Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors. The slide suggests that this new board will be in ECS’ traditional Black Series color scheme which is grey/white/black but that could change as the gold treatment did set off a buzz that’s been making people talk more about them.
Also in attendance were the Manila Aguilas, a League of Legends pro-gaming team and BenQ.Mineski’s Jabito and Stellar (formerly Ender) of local Starcraft II fame, the latter delivering a short presentation about BenQ’s gaming monitors.
Amongst the night’s other activities are a Street Fighter 4 tournament amongst the bloggers and a separate one for the distributors. In true Back2Gaming swagger, yours truly stepped and represent and seized the championship crown and taking home an ECS P67H2-A2. More goodies were given away to those present by raffle.
In closing, we appreciate ECS inviting us over to celebrate this event with them. We also look forward to working closer with them in the future in hopes of improving their products more. We always welcome more players in the market as this drives competition and competition breeds innovation which hopefully benefits the consumers.
