MSI Rigย Modding Winners
As the event comes to an end, MSI closes its activities by announcing the winners of its annual Rig Modding competition.
The 3rd place winner was Homer Dikitanan, aka Pearl Black, with his Project Raidenย Rig. He took home an MSI B150M Night Elf motherboard, MSI DS502 Gaming Headset, MSI DSB1 Mouse, MSI Mousepad, MSI Dragon Doll, MSI Pins and a cash prize of Php 5,000. He did a complete transformation of the Tecware Raiden both the internals and the outer apperance of the case. The small yet powerful look made it my favorite rig in the event.
The first runner up was Mhike “Tantric” Samsin with this Radioactivo v2 mod. He was able to get an MSI GTX 1060, MSI DS502 Gaming HEadset, MSI Interceptor DSB1 Mouse, MSI Mousepad, MSI Dragon Doll, MSI Pins and double the amount of the 3rd place’s cash prize amounting to Php 10,000.
The champion was Mark Van Acosta featuring the Inwin Sย Frame. The monstrous case costs around Php 40,000 because of the full metal construction together with its automatic sliding side panel window. He received one of MSI’s top tier motherboards, the Z170 Gaming Pro Carbon along with a GTX 1060 Gaming 3G, MSI DS502 Gaming Headset, MSI Interceptor DSB1 Mouse, MSI Mousepad, MSI Dragon Doll, MSI Pins and Php 15,000 cash prize.
This year’s rig modding competition is a lot better than last year’s with amped up rigs from different modders. They presented a different style altogetherย that made it hard to call out who will be the champion. Everyone’s work was truly deserving to be in the top 3 but some masterpieces swept the spot because of its elegance, cleanliness and appealling design.
