Aspyr Media has released >observer_ for Linux last night, October 24, 2017, 11:30 PM (Philippine Time). It’s a first-person horror game set in the year 2084 and players assume the character of Dan Lazarski who is a member of a special police unit whose job is to hack and invade criminals’ minds. The game is currently at 15% off and can be bought for PhP 645.95 only. Here are the minimum requirements on Linux:
Operating System: Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 17.04, SteamOS 2.0
CPU: Intel Core i3 @ 3.4 GHz, AMD A8-7600
Memory: 8 GB
Hard Drive Space: 10 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 (AMD not yet supported)

A free Steam game code was provided to me by Aspyr Media but there was no pre-release access. I was only able to download (8.2GB) and play the game at the time of release of the Linux port. On my gaming PC equipped with a Gigabyte GTX 970 ITX paired with Intel Core i7 7700, the game runs around 60 FPS at 1920 x 1080 resolution with High preset. It seemed stable in my first 30 minutes of game play and I did not encounter any game crash on Ubuntu MATE 17.04 running with GeForce 387.12 driver. I’ll give it more play time and hopefully publish a game review in the 1st week of November.

This game looks really good, but I have a problem with horror games, my heart suffers a lot!
