‘Mania weekend is happening in Vegas this week, and we’re seeing a rare collaboration between NVIDIA, the WWE, and NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton. The Indiana Pacers point guard is a life-long gamer and massive WWE fan, frequently modding custom characters into the WWE 2K games.

Now, I don’t have much love for Ty (it’s a sports thing), but I have all the respect in the world for him, especially for this playoffs heroics, and am hoping for his successful recovery from the torn Achilles he suffered in the 2025 NBA Finals, and his return to the court next season (sorry, Indiana). To help him through the long year of rehab, the GeForce Garage team decided to hook him up with the ultimate WWE gaming rig to pass the time.

The Builder & The Concept

NVIDIA brought in veteran modder Dave Cathey of Insolent Mods to handle the design. The concept was wild: a fully functional PC built directly into a wrestling ring collectible. Because standard Mattel action figure rings aren’t scaled to fit ATX PC components, Dave had to scratch-build an entire aluminum chassis to serve as the base.

The rig features custom blue skirts to match the SmackDown branding (a nod to Haliburton’s signature shoe colors), complete with a custom “HaliBros” (Ty’s gaming channel) ring apron. The coolest feature, however, is the ring mat itself. The floor was swapped from the standard canvas to a transparent clear cover to showcase the hardware glowing inside. The ring also acts as a perfect display stand for Tyrese to pose his WWE action figures.

The Hardware Specs

Tyrese insisted on building the PC himself. Because of this, the team opted against a complicated custom water-cooling loop, instead utilizing the user-friendly Corsair iCUE Link ecosystem to keep things manageable. The front of the display stand also houses the new Corsair Xeneon Edge LCD screen to monitor system temps and loads.

  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B850M-PLUS WIFI (Video) / X870-Plus (Listed)
  • RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000
  • Storage: 4TB Corsair MP700 Pro
  • Power Supply: Corsair HX1500i
  • Cooling: Corsair iCUE Link TITAN 360 RX LCD AIO & RX120 Fans
  • Custom Cables: Bespoke Baka

The Assembly and Performance

With the custom chassis prepped, Tyrese successfully clicked in the DDR5 RAM and mounted the massive RTX 5080 Founders Edition himself. The system powered on flawlessly on the first try.

Unsurprisingly, this hardware combination absolutely crushes modern titles at 4K:

  • WWE 2K26: Easily locked to the engine’s 60 FPS cap at max settings, leaving plenty of overhead for Tyrese’s heavy modding.
  • Arc Raiders: 280-300 FPS (Max Settings, DLSS Performance, Frame Gen 4x).
  • Cyberpunk 2077: 220-240 FPS (Max Settings, Path Tracing, DLSS 4.5 Performance, Frame Gen 6x).
  • Borderlands 4: 300+ FPS (Highest Settings).

The final result is a true one-of-a-kind masterpiece that flawlessly blends Tyrese’s love for the NBA, PC tinkering, and the WWE into the ultimate recovery station.
