We all loved watching cartoons when we were younger. We have our favorite cartoons aired in different channels, but still we found ways to juggle from one channel to the other. Now, kids of this generation have a certain channel that gives them their daily dose of cartoons without the hassle of juggling from one channel to another, this awesome network is called the Cartoon Network.
And just recently, Turner, the official distributor of Cartoon Network, partnered with Globe to introduce the newest enhancement of their “Watch and Play” app, which can be downloaded by iOS and Android users via the iOS App Store and Google Play Store respectively.
The newest enhancement of the Watch and Play app will let Globe consumers to livestream Cartoon Network and on-demand content via a new authenticated service.
Globe customers will soon be able to log in to the free app using their username and password to unlock an array of value-added services, which includes livestreaming the channel on devices, games and access to full episodes on demand. In addition, Cartoon Network Anything – a unique micro-network that presents short-form content – will also be offered as part of the Globe app bundle.
There is nothing to worry about the data usage, the use of the app will be offset via a data wallet system, available via users’ subscription plans. It wont munch up your monthly data allowance.
To top it all up, a 30-day free access for Cartoon Network Watch and Play will be exclusively available to Globe Customers this November. It will allow Globe customers to access shows and games anytime. The Cartoon Network Anything, on the other hand, will be available for access via Globe Switch app with a data wallet for postpaid users while prepaid customers can enjoy the app by registering to Globe GoSurf50.
