COLORFUL’s COMPUTEX 2025 lineup wasn’t just about the company’s flagship GPUs. COLORFUL is pushing forward on the portable front since last year and they’ve been playing around with some branding. This year, they’re taking what works and mixing in some new ones by unveiling a compelling new generation of gaming laptops, ultrabooks, and mini PCs designed to meet the evolving demands of both gamers and creators — as well as professionals in need of compact performance.
EVOL G16 Pro & P16 Pro: High-End Gaming in a Thin Form
Headlining the notebook lineup are the EVOL G16 Pro and EVOL P16 Pro, two premium 16-inch gaming laptops powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPUs. Each model is paired with up to an Intel Core i9-14900HX, boasting 24 cores and 32 threads, and support for Intel Application Optimization (APO) to extract more performance in gaming workloads.
The laptops feature a 2K QHD (2560×1600) display with an upgraded 300Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB coverage, and minimal response time, aimed at both esports enthusiasts and creative professionals who demand color accuracy. These models blend raw horsepower with thoughtful design — a thin profile, high-speed NVMe storage, and active thermal management round out the package.
ORIGO Gaming Laptop: RTX Power Meets Modern Portability
Positioned just below the EVOL Pro tier is the new ORIGO gaming laptop. While detailed configurations weren’t disclosed, early information points to RTX 5070-class GPUs and a choice between Intel i9 and Ultra 9 processors. The ORIGO model slots in as a more balanced gaming and productivity machine, tailored for users who want performance without the bulk.
Rimbook S1 Pro: Ultrabook Simplicity, COLORFUL Styling
At the opposite end of the spectrum is the Rimbook S1 Pro, COLORFUL’s foray into premium ultrabooks. Aimed at professionals, students, and content consumers, the Rimbook emphasizes portability, build quality, and long battery life. The series is expected to launch in select regions beginning June 2025, with configurations featuring the latest Intel Core Ultra CPUs in a slim, understated chassis.
AMD-Powered Mini PCs: SFF Innovation on Display
COLORFUL also debuted two new mini PCs built around AMD Ryzen APU platforms, including one model with the Ryzen Al Max+ 395 and another based on the Ryzen 7 HX225. Both systems are designed for compact office setups, HTPC use, or light gaming workloads, all while preserving a clean, fanless exterior with surprisingly capable thermals.
Despite their size, the mini PCs were shown handling everyday tasks with ease and are expected to support DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage, and modern display outputs such as HDMI 2.1 and USB-C.
