VideoCardz reporting from their source that Intel may be facing supply issues with their Arc desktop GPUs which is expected to launch in a couple of weeks. The source told VideoCardz that Intel is now targeting a possible Q2 or Q3 launch. Intel has indicated in their teaser video that they are targetting a Spring 2022 launch which is later in the year. This brings them closer to NVIDIA and AMD’s possible release schedule as well.
Intel is preparing their own portfolio of discrete graphics covering the entire vertical from the Arc A780 followed by the Arc A770, Arc A580 and the Arc A380 for desktop. There is already an Arc A350 out for laptops now but models using it are scarce and early testing puts it around the same performance-class as the NVIDIA MX450.
