Azza and Noctua documentations are suggesting that their coolers designed for Intel’s LGA1851 socket will be compatible with the upcoming LGA1851 socket mounting hardware.
Azza’s newly introduced Cube 240 and Cube 360 liquid AIO coolers are among those compatible with the upcoming Arrow Lake processors’ LGA1851 socket as indicated via the shot of the instruction manual. Despite the LGA1851 socket having more contact pins, it maintains the same dimensions and mounting spacing as the LGA1700, ensuring many current coolers remain compatible.
A recent Reddit post showcasing the Azza Cube 360 installation manual further confirms this compatibility. Additionally, Noctua’s coolers, including the NH-U12, have also shown signs of Arrow Lake support.
One distinction with the LGA1851 is its higher maximum dynamic pressure, which occasionally results in new cooler mounting mechanisms. However, for those upgrading to the Arrow Lake platform, if their mounting brackets align, cooler installation should be straightforward.
