After the announcement of Nintendo’s new Pokémon game last September, there were no updates to its plans & development aside from hyped fan arts. Niantic’s CEO, John Hanke, was scheduled to do a 30min talk last GDC 2016 but then decided to cancel it few days before the event. The CEO said that the cancellation will allow more time for them get ready for its beta test and product launch. The talk would’ve been a nice opportunity to give us details about its game development.
The beta will first set forth on Japan later this month according to Niantic Inc and will be inviting some users for its field test program. These users will have the opportunity to give early feedback and help improve the app. The Pokémon GO field test program will also expand to other countries after a fee weeks, said Niantic.
A Youtube user, Eric F., posted some gameplay footage of the upcoming Pokémon Go mobile game. This is by far, the first ever video we’ve seen for the upcoming title aside from the trailers and screenshots we’ve received from official sources.

anyone else click this link and think to themselves “please dont be click bait! please dont be clickbait!!!!” lol
Lol video’s legit though. Debug version of the game but heck its functional and damn they guy didn’t hold back and popped a master ball
Yeh apparently betas are out in Japan already…yeh well clearly he hacked the game for master balls haha
Hopefully they integrate some sort of battle system tho and not just throwing the pokeball, or maybe like old safari zone, combination or throwing rocks and treats
Yeah hopefully we do get the whole Pokemon game experience with a new twist and some new stuff. Clearly they’re gonna be charging some real money for items here as well as events but that should put off some shit players who just jump in and start messing up the whole pokemon economy by inflating the population.
Hopefully we get more footage especially battles, really wanna see PVP gameplay 😀
i used to be a app game tester before sa mga smartphones before irelease sa general public ang game. maraming bugs yan for sure especially kung hindi reliable ang 3G/wifi connection
