I just got word that Minecraft creator, Notch, announced on the the game’s official site that the game currently stands at about 3 million copies sold even before the game has gone out of it’s “beta” stage.
Minecraft, took the gaming world by storm with it’s basic premise of “world building” through stacking pieces of “blocks” to create something out of it. It put it’s creator, Notch in the radar of a lot of gamers while the game has slowly earned a lot of fans even if the game isn’t yet complete.
Here’s a big salute to you Notch!
